2020 Lagom Pinot Noir, Santa Barbara County
"Pretty rose and wild strawberry tones lift up to form a delicate bouquet as the 2020 Pinot Noir Lagom opens in the glass. This is round and savory in style, with mineral-tinged red fruits and blue-toned inner florals. Sour citrus and tart wild berries linger through the medium-length finish. Out of fear of smoke issues, no whole cluster fruit was used in the fermentation in 2020. (Drink between 2023-2029)." -Eric Guido, 92VM
This sister label to Torrin is known for sourcing fruit from coastal cool climate regions throughout California’s central coast, resulting in a wine that provides a wonderful contrast to the full-bodied wines bottled under Torrin’s main label. The Lagom wines are powerful and expressive in typical Torrin style, yet exhibit wonderful cool climate finesse along with tremendous freshness and structure.
