Peaches and cream. Ripe, but also expressing a level of restraint with energy, vibration and tension. Combination of ripe base notes, high tone floral elements and lifted energy. "As always, a wine of spice, complexity and supreme transparency. Cigar, Rooibos, hibiscus tea and red plum. Herbal and delectable resinous notes from stem inclusion, but still lead by bright and soft red fruit. Black cherry. Brambly and vinous throughout. Black tea and rose hips. Don't be fooled by the lighter color as this Puerta bottling is absolutely ponderous as well as being deep and balanced. Luscious and multi-layered expression of our western-most parcel.
