"The 2023 Chenin Blanc Jurassic Park is one of the best domestic Chenin Blancs I’ve encountered. Varietal notes of honey, yellow apple, orange oil, chalk and wet wool are unashamedly Chenin. The 2023 feels almost toothsome—something you can really grab ahold of and sink your teeth into. It’s a style I find wildly appealing. (Drink between 2026-2031)" - Vinous 94VM
"This beer is brewed with Lyon barley, a variety developed by renowned artisan grain breeder Kevin Murphy of the WSU Bread Lab and named in honor of his mentor and colleague, Steven R. Lyon. We sourced a beautiful crop from Bill Myers' family farm overlooking the Palouse River in Washington State. Brewed as a Pilsner-style lager." - Beer Advocate, 4.21BA
"The Sémillon was planted in 1886, drawn from a 3.8-acre parcel divided into three sub-blocks. The grapes are picked on the earlier side and fermented entirely in barriques with native yeasts, then stirred on the lees towards the tail end of élevage, ageing for nine months prior to bottling. The style is resolutely old-school and very much aligned with Bernardino Sani’s philosophy at Argiano: earlier picking to emphasise freshness and savoury nuance, and to produce wines that age gracefully. A truly gorgeous wine. The vineyard was originally developed by the Goldstein family before being purchased by the Martini family in 1938, who renamed it Monte Rosso. This 2023 release marks the first vintage of Monte Rosso wines produced as a standalone brand from this iconic site, with total production currently around 800 cases. Perched high above Sonoma Valley, Monte Rosso Vineyard is defined by iron-rich red volcanic soils and fractured rhyolite at elevation, delivering some of California’s most powerful yet distinctly mineral-driven mountain fruit.
