"The 2023 Chenin Blanc Jurassic Park is one of the best domestic Chenin Blancs I’ve encountered. Varietal notes of honey, yellow apple, orange oil, chalk and wet wool are unashamedly Chenin. The 2023 feels almost toothsome—something you can really grab ahold of and sink your teeth into. It’s a style I find wildly appealing. (Drink between 2026-2031)" - Vinous 94VM

Enfield Wine Co. was founded in 2010 by John Lockwood, who cut his teeth in the winemaking world at some of the most esteemed vineyard sites and with some of the most noted producers in California. John has worked under top winemakers such as David Mahaffey, Ted Lemon, and Ehren Jordan, and most recently he was responsible for farming Failla's Sonoma Coast and Russian River properties. John sources grapes from sites both traditional and experimental, where the exciting possibilities of soil and climate meet the hands of exceptional growers. His goal is to produce articulate wines of personality and character from a broad range of sites around California, precisely threading the needle between power and elegance.

Enfield's own-rooted Chenin Blanc from plantings dating back to 1978 just may be it's finest release, as Vinous' Antonio Galloni notes: "John Lockwood's Chenin Blanc Jurassic Park...is one of the finest domestic Chenins I’ve encountered."
