2004 Sea Smoke Pinot Noir "Southing"
"Tremendous richness, depth and concentration, with a gush of blueberry, wild berry and blackberry fruit that offers intensity, lively acidity and enough tannins to merit short-term cellaring. Drink now through 2011. 2,400 cases made." -James Laube, 93WS
Sea Smoke focuses on the meticulous management of each vine to achieve ideal vine balance and very low yields, while incorporating sustainable, environmentally sound, organic and biodynamic farming practices. Ten different clones of Pinot Noir create wines of exceptional complexity and grace – each one, they believe, a reflection of the unique terroir of their estate vineyard.
